Wine: Château Signac Pliocène Côtes Du Rhône 2016
Region: Rhone Valley
Price: $26.99
Score: 91 Points – Tom
Appearance: A pronounced ruby colour
Aroma: A real basket of fruits on the nose, particularly dominated by red fruits. Slightest element of jamminess, and a hint of sweet spices.
Palate: The red fruit comes through, with a medium body and some tender tannin to round the wine out.
Review: This is a great representation of Côtes Du Rhône wine. This grenache blend (60% Grenache, 15% Carignan, 10% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre and 5% Counoise) is ready to drink, and would pair very well with most meats, cold or warm. A Very good value for money wine and one not to be missed!
