Wine: Chateau Haut-Moulin Bordeaux 2017
Region: Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux (Right Bank Bordeaux)
Price: $29.99
Score: 91.5 Points – Tom
Appearance: Dark Ruby
Aroma: Spice jumping out of the glass; hints of black cherry & a jamminess. Very punchy nose!
Palate: Though the nose is punchy, the palate is light & surprisingly refined for an entry bordeaux. Black cherry & warming black fruits. Spice isn’t as intense on palate but does exist. Tannins are light but provide good structure. Good balance, no oak. Could do with a year or 2 of bottle age for better integration.
Review: Serious value entry bordeaux! Surprising depth for it’s price point. Haven’t found a better value bordeaux on the market as of yet!
Value Rating: 8.5/10
